⭐ Jasmine Review – August 2023 Quite a new opening this restaurant. Located in the City Centre, the other side of the shopping to the Xscape, possible a little out of the way and relying on reputation for their customers. Food, especially starters, was certainly spicy, perhaps too spicy as no indication on the menu of this. Overall, the food was certainly authentic Indian and was very good. Excessive staff seemed to be in attendance, not sure if they were all there for training, as knowledge of the offering was poor and the whole service was somewhat haphazard. An expensive option but we wish them success with their venture. The Chairman

  • Lamb Sheek kebab, sold as mild but spicy. Very tasty
  • Chicken Tangdi kebab, three good drumsticks

  • Chicken Tangdi kebab, three good drumsticks
  • Gongura mutton, very tasty, unusual flavour
  • Delicious Butter chicken, spicy, lingering after taste
  • Big rice portions, all nice
  • Plenty of Asian customers which always a good sign
Areas for Improvement
  • No certificate awarded. The food is better than this but the overall experience was disappointing
  • Table was booked but not ready for us
  • Service slow and chaotic. Lots of staff but food did not arrive together. Ordering was difficult.
  • Did not have pops, too expensive
  • One Unisex toilet by the servers entrance. Doubts about it!
  • Naans were like roti, should not be mixed into same bowl when served
  • No choice of veggie sides
  • Small, limited menu with inflated prices
  • Music not authentic
